My daughter cut off 12 inches of hair to donate to a company that makes wigs for kids with cancer?

It is now super short and layered all over. Any suggestions on products to use to make her hair look a little bit more controlled?

Good for her!! If she did it herself, get her a professional haircut – anything she wants. You have a considerate, thoughtful, daughter. You should be very proud.
Try a good shampoo, conditioner, and mousse.
Fructis has sleek and shine sprays that will keep it looking really smooth!
apply conditioner
If she wants a controlled somewhat spiky look, I used Bedhead Mastermind. Comes in a little can, it’s pricey but you don’t need much at all. I did try a wax type product but it left my hair feeling way too gross and greasy. Hope this helps.
Aw, that was very considerate of her.
You should try some voluming mousse.
hair wax or pomade is good. . . Aussie also make a good product that has gel and mousse in it. Get her some headbands. . . they look really cute on short hair.
I did that last year! It’s called locks of love
My hair was super short by the time they cut it off, They mistaked me for a boy tons of times. But, when they cut it, they don’t have time to make it look pretty so what they do is just snip. What you have to do is take her to a hair dresser and have them fix it.
good for her. Try use a wooden comb, it will make the hair grow fast, because its natural material will promote the blood circulation around the scalp.
