I want to cut my hair and give it to a foundation that helps make wigs for people who could use it. I myself have alot of scars on my head from surgery and that is the reason I originally grew long hair but i think its time to cut it and I want to give it to a place that can actually use it….not a place that gives it to ladies to make braided hair weaves out of or something..but for a child that would feel better with hair. Any help or suggestions will be apreciated. Eric
Duramed FUTURES Tour professionals Cindy Lee-Pridgen and Kim Welch cut their long hair at the Duramed Championship in Mason, Ohio. The cut hair will be donated for wigs for cancer patients. Cindy organized the cutting in honor of her mother, who died two years ago of cancer.
I’ve been growing my hair out for a few years now because I’d like to donate it so it can be made into wigs for cancer patients, or other people who have lost their hair. My hair is long, curly, and extremely thick, and it seems to grow ridiculously fast. I don’t want to shave it all off, though — is it acceptable to just get it cut off to your shoulders and donate the rest, or does it have to be shaven for some reason? I was thinking I’d let it grow out to my waist or the small of my back before I had it cut. (It’s already midway down my back) Would that be okay?
My grand mother passed away 14 years ago from cancer and I want to do this in her honor. I want to donate my hair for the making of wigs for cancer patients.
I have severla dozen wigs, scarves, and hats that were owned by a cancer patient . I would like to donate them for women who are unable to buy their own while undergoinng chemotherapy .
