   I used to wear them and stopped wearing them earlier this year. I wore them for a year and a half. Lace wigs are becoming more mainstream now and can be purchased from Chinese vendors, Ebay, Amazon. com, and Beauty Supply Stores. You can buy them already made or have them customized for your head size, you can pick whatever length you want (whether 8 inches or 36 inches of hair), whatever texture (european hair, chinese remy, indian remy, kinky/afro texture, curly), wig density. I’m also starting to see synthetic lace wigs starting to sell now. Prices for these wigs vary. Some will spend over $1000 for a good quality wig, some will spend $200-$500. The cheapest I bought was for $80. 00 on EBAY and it held up pretty well.

   With the wigs I used to wear I always wanted a low density on them. The lace wigs with high density usually looked very fake and wiggish.
   It’s good to wear a nude wig cap or a stocking cap under the wig so it can resemble a scalp. It’s also good to have a good adhesive for these. Some adhesives work better for others. This site here will tell you everything about lace wigs. This is how I learned about lace wigs when I was trying to grow my hair out.
