hmm i guess youll have to wat and see.
If it’s a little snug, that okay. The stretch at the ears should allow for some ease around the lace wig perimeter allowing it to still fit.
You may have to use stronger glues/adhesives like “Supertape” or “Walker Ultra Hold” to keep it more securely in place.
There is a way to stretch the wig if it is too small. Remember the lace is fabric and all fabric stretches You will need the following supplies:
Styrofoam wig head
T-Pins
Towel
Shampoo/conditioner.
Wash and condition your unit as you would normally. towel dry the hair only. Please the wig on the styrofoam block. Carefully stretch the unit to fit the measurements you wish to meet. Using muliptle t-pins so that you don’t tear the lace. pin the unit down in the center, and then throughout the streched area. Allow to air dry. You may need to do this a few times to get the fit you want.
The unit may secure with your tape and glue however it may slip some or you may find yourself adhering the unit to your mothers hair instead of infront of the hairline.
Also at time the unit may not fit well behind the ears. For my fit i cut a litlle slit behind the ear and that helps this the wig lay much better. This method could also help with adjusting to fit your measurements. Remember to protect the slit area with fray block which you can find at a local craft store
